Sub-floor conditions can affect the health of your entire home
Poor sub-floor ventilation creates perfect conditions for termites, mould and fungi. EcoFans are designed to move up to 4000L/m of air, dramatically improving underfloor air quality.
Details:
The condition of the air space beneath a home can impact on mould and fungi growth, termite action and even household allergies and respiratory problems.
Poor sub-floor air circulation provides a conducive environment for the breeding and activity of termites. It can also give rise to stale and musty odours which permeate into living areas.
To improve sub-floor air quality and reduce humidity levels beneath the floor, Edmonds has developed the ecoFAN. ecoFAN consists of an electronic, brushless, D.C. motor and a 23cm diameter, five blade fan, installed within an aluminium powdercoated frame.
ecoFAN extracts 4,000 litres per minute of stale or damp sub-floor air. This air is replaced by clean, fresh, external air sucked through wall grilles placed opposite the ecoFAN. Even if allowed to run continuously, ecoFAN, which draws only 6.5W, will cost less than $A6 per annum in energy charges.
Colours
There are two colours available, Brown and White (Surfmist). both are powdercoated to give a strong and lasting finish. Please select your colour from tab on the left.
Applications
Ecofan is installed in the sub-floor brickwork by removal of one full brick and part removal of adjacent bricks above and below. No electrician is required. A 12v adaptor is provided for connection to a standard power point.
