Austech Building Products have over 30 years experience in the industry and are an Australian wide company, with the Online Store based in Sydney. The Online Store was developed to make purchasing our products simple, fast and easy with the push of a few buttons.
- How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Stock item orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours. Depending on location, your order may be there within 3-4 days or 1-2 with express post. back to top
- Do I have to pay a sales tax (GST)?
No. The prices of items and delivery are all inclusive of GST. back to top
- What are my payment options?
Austech offers the following payment options:
Paypal and;
Direct Deposit.
We offer a 2% Discount to anyone paying by Direct Deposit Bank to Bank Transfer. This discount is not applicable to credit card or paypal payments. Orders must be paid for in full prior to shipment.
*If you do not feel comfortable in paying for your item online then just give us a call on (02) 9831 1623 and we will be more than happy to help you out. PayPal is however one of the most secure payment methods in the world. back to top
- How much is shipping?
Shipping is calculated through Australia Post and will be displayed before the payment step in the ordering process. Price will vary and will be determined by cubic metres, size and weight.
For Expol, freight is only available to the Sydney Metropolitan Area at a flat rate of $85 per order.
The Screen in a Box product is precalculated by your location and the delivery fee is set depending on size of the screen and the area it is to be shipped to. back to top
- Can I track my order?
Each item that is shipped through Australia Post is registered and therefore given a tracking code. If you require this information, just phone the Austech office on (02) 9831 1623 and we can chase this up for you. back to top
- What is your return policy?

- Do you have an offline shop?
Yes, Austech has branches in all Australian states. Product availability does vary between states, but if you are uncomfortable with online shopping, you can access Austech's Contact Details from the contact tab, and shop with us directly. back to top
- Do you sell outside of Australia?
No, currently we only deliver Australia wide, but please feel free to express your interest. back to top
- Why are most of your products on sale?
The regular price is the price that manufactures recommend and the sale price is what we are selling it for, giving you more value and extra savings. The featured pricing is indicative of online pricing only. We support the simplified process of ordering online with discounted prices. back to top
- Do you install?
No, we look after supply only. Many of our products are DIY friendly, and we can provide instruction manuals on request. In some areas we can recommend installers, so please feel free contact us. back to top
- What security measures do you have in place?
All areas of austechshoponline.com.au that involve transactions are secure; you can see this since they have HTTPS in the URL. Austech recommends Transactions with PayPal since it offers our customers the best security. back to top
- Can I physically see an item on your website before I purchase it?

We are open from 8am to 4pm Monday to Friday. We have a large proportion of what we sell online available to view on site and you are able to purchase any available item onsite at the same low prices as is on our website. This way you can take advantage of our low prices and enjoy even greater savings as there are no delivery charges. back to top
- My order never arrived?
Our orders are processed through Australia Post and registered to ensure we are doing everything right on our end. If you feel your order should have arrived by now, simply give us a call and we will track it down for you. back to top
- Has my payment gone through?
Paypal will automatically send you a confirmation email to the email address you registered with us when payment has been received. Alternately you can check your bank account to see whether funds have been withdrawn. back to top
- I have completed my order but I can't check out?
If you encounter any technical problems that do not allow you to complete your order you may either email us at sales@austech.com.au or make a call to the office to speak to one of our helpful staff members. back to top
- What if I am not home when you deliever my goods?
As all our parcels are sent as registered and insured we require a signature upon delivery. Australia Post typically deliver during business hours so if you are not expecting to be home during these hours, we suggest, if practical, to provide your work address as the delivery address.
If there is no one available to sign for the delivery, or if the local postal service does not offer this direct service, then a Card will be left in your mailbox advising you of a post office to collect your parcel from. back to top
- I have purchased the wrong product, can I get a refund?
If you are wanting to secure a refund Austech are happy to do so once the product has been returned and received. This will however incur a 20% re-stocking fee on the total cost of the product. back to top
